I've used quite a few of these. The screw in feature eliminates the glueing step and makes it a bit easier to keep the pegs lined up. It does take some effort to screw the things in. I've found that some soft jawed pleirs works good for the last bit of tightening. They need to be good and tight to get a good fit against whatever they are being mounted on and to get a nice straight appearance.
