It really works! I was very skeptical, but I was tired of buying new belts all the time, so I got this, and my belt lasts so much longer.

I have a refinishing shop and use sandpaper and belts daily. Even after stripping paint and varnish belts can clog quickly. I use the clening stick several times durring the sanding process. I used one belt on my belt sander to hlp refinish three old exterior doors. Normally I would have to use two or three belts for each door.
Great product for small or large shop.

This is a product that saves money and time. Extends the life of your sanding belts 2 to 3 times, saving money. Also takes seconds to clean a belt on your sander rather than changing belts, saving time.

These sanding belt "erasers" are incredibly good and long lasting, too. I had one for a couple of years, used it often, and then I lost it somehow. It looks like a piece of 2x2 and I think I must have tossed it in the trash. But, this is the real deal.

I was as skeptical as most others but chanced a small loss on the cleaning stick. I have already saved a small bundle on belts for my belt sander. My dad "borrowed" it and he likes it so much I will have to buy a couple more so we each can have two. These are a real money saver. Try it... you’ll like it!

Very simple idea, that works very well. Not only does it extend the life of the belts, but if you use it regularly (before the belt gets gummed up) it improves both the speed of cut and the quality of the surface.
There are also two off-schedule uses that are very handy--it works well to cleanup excess contact cement on the show side of veneer and it erases pencil layout lines.

Sometimes the simplest things can be some of the best. This product is a perfect example of that. I had a few belts gummed up with old shellac and oil based paint (from remodeling/restoring a 50's house), and this little stick made them like new again. Highly recommended.

I was amazed how this abrasive cleaning stick restored my 6x36 sanding belt to like new condition. I have thrown away many belts over the years that I'm sure could have been restored and saved me several dollars. I've now bought extras to keep around various places in my shop and bought extras for my father who also has a shop.

I would be out hundreds of dollars without the cleaning sticks. I use it on my disk and orbital sanders but more importantly on my drum sander. they clean up sap and resin very well. I also like to keep one handy to use as an eraser to remove layout lines on my wood projets. Well worth the money.

Excellent way to keep the belts clean but the trick is not let the belt get too fowled up before using the stick. If the belt is too far clogged up the stick may not save it. Good buy, would not have ever bought one years ago if I hadn't seen it work with my own eyes. If your sanding sappy pine don't expect this stick to work 100% or even 75%.

I'm an "old school" woodworker and I've found that most gadgets and so called timesavers are not worth the investment. I recently bought a cleaning stick to fill out a Rockler order. Threw it in with my sanding gear. Yesterday I finished construction of a deck and began the sanding part. Before going out to buy several stacks of sandpaper, I tried the cleaning stick on a whim to see what it would do. AMAZING!! I can't believe the ease of use or the results. This thing will pay for itself many times over. No one who sands should be without one!!!

I was not prepared for how well this works. Makes sanding papers last longer, which I expected. What I did not expect is how it saves sanding time (which is my least favorite wood working activity). I sand a while, clean, sand a while, clean, etc. A clean sander just works faster. OK, I'll say it for you. "Duh!"

I use up one of these Cleaning sticks each year. They work great on sanding power tools. Drums, belts and disks. The only thing they don't remove is burnt on resin and dust. I get much more life from the sanding media. Don't press too hard as the stick will grab and move quickly off the surface. Long life, great results, and low cost.

What a money saver! I use these sticks on my belt sander, my spindle sander, and even my random orbital sander. It cleans the paper, and prevents clogging. Sand paper lasts much longer, and the results are a better finish. A typical abrasive stick lasts several dozen cleanings and will not damage equipment.

I have an old stick which I have used for several years. I was already sold on it use, but bought two more because of the great price from Rockler. These sticks are also great as push sticks (when cleaning a belt or disk create an angle on one end of the stick), but they also clean the tires of my band saw really well.
Thanks Rockler.

I never used one of these but heard good things about it and thought I would try it. I got one and they work GREAT. My sanding devices would get clogged and I was changing out sand paper way too often. I used this device and I am getting a very extended life out of my belts, spindles, discs ect. Very versatile. Well worth the small price you pay to extend the life of your sand paper. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
