Indispensable. Saves belts and pockets. Previously had one made of plastic -- too brittle -- broke after a few uses.

I received one as a gift and found it simply the most useful tool since the orbital sander. I put it on when I go into the shop and usually end up with it still with it on my belt at day's end. I bought one for a fellow woodworker after he admired it and its simplicity.

This was one of the best things I have ever bought. I were it every day! I am a general contractor/finish carpenter and am always running around, taking tool bags on and off. I put it on in the morning and dont take it off till about 6 pm when I take my pants off. I dont even notice it under my tool belt. If I grab a tape when I'm not working I end up dropping my tape on the floor because my belt clip was not there to put it back. This has also saved my pants pocket, they would always be tore up. I would pay over $50 for this. I couldn't go with out it in my day.

Brilliant! Now I dont have to put my pencil or my tape in my pocket, but can attach it to my belt right next to my phone. In fact - it looks so good I wear it just about anywhere - dinner parties, weddings to the lake for the weekend etc. I use to have to walk kind of funny in fear of a sharp pencil in my pocket stabbing me in my femoral artery - now I can walk without fear!- the leather keeps this from happening. How did I ever live without this! Thank you!

I have one on each side of my belt, one side is for my tape and pencil, and the other side is for my nail set and clip on utility knife. I have a right hand and left hand holder. I put both of these on a nylon belt with quick release holder and this is all I need for building cabinets. Great tool, buy one, or two.
"Have been a return customer for a number of years, and a recent experience has really cemented that bond for me. After using my Rockler lighted magnifying lens for a few months, one of the wires from the battery pack came loose. When I contacted Customer Service to inquire about sending the unit back, they instead sent me a brand new one - no questions asked, no return expected, no charge whatsoever. This simple step - coupled with top quality, innovative products - ensured my repeat business more than any other advertising technique or gimmick could ever do.
Keep up the good work, Rockler!" -
