Get this stylish look using our plan and lighting kits. Each bookcase kit includes 1 swivel incandescent light and 1 pushbutton switch. Bed box kit contains 2 swivel incandescent lights and a 3 - stage dimmer switch (25%, 50%, 100% and off). Available for Vertical bed only.

Plans for bed portion of design are part of bed hardware packages and are sold separately. See our Vertical Bed Hardware Kit with vertical bed plans. Hardware includes instructions for basic cabinet construction and instructional DVD.

Plan #31942 is for the bookcases shown in the photo along each side of the bed.

I ordered this item from the description in your catalog and found out it has nothing to do with a bed plan, just a bookcase plan.
Very disappointing.

I have found the plans and instructions to be very detailed, I found all instructions to be complete and understandable. there's also a bill of materials/cut sheet for 24" and 18" side cabinets. There's a picture of my murphy bed in Rockler's project photos.

These plans are the the poorest example of plans that I have seen. It did not contain anything to do with a Murphy bed except how to decorate the closed face of the platform. The remainder of the plans were a jumbled mess with disjointed steps.

Does what it says and the touch control is very nice. It came with a broken solder joint so one of the lights did not work. Resoldered the joint and all is well.
