The spring-activated lock assures stability by locking in both the open and closed positions. Works with 1-1/2'' square legs. Folds easily when not in use.

I used a pair of these brackets on a hinged-on-one-side, fold down table in the grandchildren's "Tree-less" tree-house a clubhouse on stilts. They work great! Even the seven year old can open and fold the legs without a problem. The leg-brackets work great in this light-duty environment.

I used these on two small folding utility tables for occasional use, and they were perfect for the task. I think some of the negative reviews of this result from the hardware being used on too large of a table surface, or for too heavy an application. The fit and operation of the units I received was top notch. Very satisfied, I would use them again anytime.

Works great for wall mounted work table. Easy to fold and legs lock into position easily. Not for fine furniture, but then again who builds fine furniture with folding legs?

I use this product all the time in my line of specialty items (craft stands) and find it to be very well made and functionally reliable. The secret to using this hinge effectively is to make sure that the leg seats snuggly to the top when opened. This product is perfect for my application and I hope Rockler will continue to carry it.

For what you pay for them they aren't that bad. I used them on a fold down bench top (2'x4'; 2 layers of 3/4 ply) and so far so good. Yes, they are a bit wobbly but once the weight of the top is on the legs, I have no problem.

These brackets are poorly made and are sloppy in the locked position. The application was to apply 36" legs to a 64"x40" table. The legs were wobbly. Project had to be scrapped, started from scratch and completed using a better product.

They need to be built stronger, need a better mechanism. Too much lateral movement when the legs are down.
"Rockler is my only source for fine tools and woodworking supplies. Every item I have purchased from them has been better than I anyone would expect from other suppliers. Thanks to them I have begun the wonderful and rewarding journey into turning, from my lathe to all my turning tools and gadgets, I am a fan. Rockler has enhanced my knowledge and expanded my enthusiasm. They are customer oriented. " -
