Easy to assemble, simple design, just make sure it is clamped tight and try to minimize the play when you install the shelf pin for the "next" set of holes.

The Jig It is fast to setup and use and creates accurate hole patterns. I wish it had a carbide tipped bit that would stay sharp longer and reduce tearout. Also the chip clearance between the bit and guide needs some work to keep it from clogging up.

Just finished using it for the first time. Made the job of drilling a number of holes for shelf pins a fast and easy job. I look forward to using the jig again on my next project - built in bookselves. It is worth every penny.

Fast and easy solution to drilling even rows of holes; worked perfectly. Simple to set up and use. The only problem I had was once I got started I didn't want to stop.

Not a bad product. If you are drilling into plywood you will need to keep the jig tight against the wood to avoid tear out or splintering. That is not the fault of the jig however, just a characteristic of plywood.

Worked great. I didnt experiance any of the clogging or tear out mentioned in earlier reviews. Perhaps species of wood has something to do with it? Anyway, fo the price this is a great tool that I will use alot. It is also handy that it has storage for the bit and allen wrench so everythingn is in one place for next time!

This is just one more of Rockler's products that I don't know how I've lived without. Picked one up for a quick shelving project for the shop and it has proven to be worth its weight in gold. It is by no means an exceptionally professional tool but for a skilled carpenter/handyman this is just the ticket. It got 4 stars because the self centering bit likes to clog and has to be cleared almost after each hole but it cleans itself out once you get the hang of it. Works like a champ!
