I needed to install 3" center drawer pulls and knobs on 10 drawers and and 21 cabinets doors. The jig worked well for both applications. I used clamps to create a right angle for locating the cabinet knobs. I wold recommend this product.

I wonder how I got along without it. It makes mounting hardware sooooooooo much easier. I often wish all jigs would perform this well. The only bad part is the poor directions supplied by Rockler. The punch that comes with the jig is also great. It makes the thing work perfectly.

Great jig made adding 61 pulls to our kitchen, butler's pantry, master bath, and guest bath a snap. I replaced the wooden block supplied with the jig with t-track and a stop block mounted to it. I was able to go through all cabinets/drawers of the same size and punch the spots, make one adjustment and do the next size, etc. With the supplied punch (which is great) I had all of them marked in a matter of minutes. Then it was just a matter of drilling and screwing on the pulls.

I just renovated my kitchen with new cabinets, and needed to install 50 handles. They are small stainless steel handles that don't allow any margin of error in drilling the mountig holes. The "Jig and Punch" did the job on all the doors as well as the drawers. This was a lifesaver.

At the last minute we decided to add door puuls to every cabinet and drawer in our newly purchased home. It would have been a nightmare without a tool as simple and affective. I've already loaned it out twice!!!

I purchased this jig based on the description that indicated up to 4 1/2" setback. I am installing 3 1/2" drawer pulls on 14 fairly large drawers, the fronts of which are slightly more than 8" tall. I thought that the stated setback would allow me to use the jig. However, the maximum setback I can get using the 3 1/2" holes is 3 3/8". In fact, the maximum setback possible with the jig I have is 3 7/8" and that is for the 4" and 96mm widths. Unless there is something I don't understand about the setup and use of this jig, it is really only marginally useful. Since I want my pulls centered top-to-bottom on the front, the maximum height possible for my drawer fronts is 6 3/4". That's a full 1 1/2" less that what I need. I would suggest, in future, that the jig be made rather a bit larger.

Naturally the drawer pulls that were chosen for my first use of my new Drawer Pull Jig-it Template didn't match any of the holes in the jig. But that was no problem. After only a few minutes of laying out and drilling another pair of holes in my new template, I was quickly back to installing the drawer pulls. The jig works very well. And having a spring loaded center punch that centers in the holes included in the kit really helped out. A real time saver.

We used this product (that arrived in an unbelievable 2 days!) to install a ton of drawer pulls. Our project had come to a halt, because we didn't have the right tool!This is the right tool for installing drawer pulls by a regular non-carpenter type guy like my husband! They look great! Very easy to use this tool! A carpenter's call would have been $300, it made this tool a great buy! Thanks!

We just renovated our kitchen and this drawer pull jig-it worked very well on the shallow drawers that were less than 6 inches tall. On the taller/deeper drawers I had to modify the jig in order to be able to place the handles in the center of the drawer. It would be helpful if there were two sizes or one longer jig-it that would cover drawers up to 12 inches deep.

I bough both the Drawer pull kit and the deluxe drawer pull JIG-IT. I was disapointer that they were pretty much the same thing. I thought the "deluxe" jig would allow me to center a deeper drawer. The spring loaded center punchs seem very cheap. Not the best product I've bought from Rockler that's for sure! I did end up setting one jig up to do drawers and one for doors so that was a small plus.

With a complete kitchen to install pulls, I was faced with making a jig or purchasing one. We had purchased standard 2 3/4" pulls that looked great in the kitchen. The price on the Rockler jig was great, even better, it was on sale! We ordered it and it arrived in about a week. When I set it up I found it would not work with our standard pulls. I measured and drilled 2 new holes. It works great now. I hope Rockler will upgrade the jig soon.

I installed cabinets for a big box store and bought this to speed putting pulls on draws but found out it would only work without new adjustment on same size draws. It was a disappointment. I lost the sales receipt and now it sit in my shop with my other collection of wonder tool that didn't work.

This jig won't work if your door/drawer style has applied moldings that project past the plane of the flat panel where the pulls/knobs will be installed.

The top and bottom center holes were not aligned with the center line. Using a ruler told me the holes were centered, the center line was off-center. The jig would be significantly more user friendly if there was a center hole on each boring width line. The holes are accurately spaced, but the only way to center the jig is to draw pencil lines top to bottom and side to side.

Really great product. I would have given this an excellent if Rockler had reinforced the holes and allowed you to directly drill holes from the jig.

I like the push and "fire" action of this center punch. I use hole template jigs to mark many holes at a time for later drilling. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that I would prefer a more pointed mark rather than the 1/8" wide divot it makes.
