Bought two and have used them for my table saw, planer and jointer. Exceptional quality and ease of set up with the tapered yoke on the stand. Makes small adjustments easy. Having the ability to level the stand when the floor isn't perfect is a big plus. Have never used the ball bearing rollers, just the straight ones and they are extra large and very smooth.

These stands are best that I have used, over the 25 years, I have been involved with woodworking. My time is limited for woodworking these days, and I appreciate tools and equipment that I don't have to put together. The only things to put-on is the ball bearing cover that goes over the roller. Excellent capability when using the stands for out-feed.

I got this for a great price and free shipping. I am very happy with it. It has smooth bearnings in the rollers and it is heavy enough that it does not tend to move away from outfeed stock. It is very stable and heavy duty. I lke the way it folds up when not in use to take up less floor space in my overcrowded shop.

Wide stance, individually adustable levelers on the end of each foot and secure height adjustments-combined with incredible height reach make the the flip-top roller a good buy. For me the best feature is the addition of the panel support attachment for giving me a stable in- and out-feed for our floor mount band saw and drill press.

Whoever designed this had their head screwed on right! it is not only sturdy and well built but well engineered. Especially appreciated is that it will stand upright even when closed. Leaves every other stand I've tried in the dust.

I had a stand but every time I tried to use it, the darn thing would fall over. After looking at some, I bought this stand. All I can say is, this is the best stand on the market. The adjustments are very easy to use and it stays where you put it. Thanks Rockler for this great stand.

I bought two of these to support molding on my miter saw and to use as feed support with the table saw. The stand is very heavy duty powder-coated steel. The feet have plastic caps that turn. The caps are made asymmetrically so that each turn of the cap raises or lowers the cap a slight bit. This allow you to keep the roller level on slightly uneven surfaces. The roller works well. The ball bearings not so much. The do work but do not turn fluidly and the work piece winds up getting dragged across the bearing more often than not. The bearings are mounted in a plastic housing that flips up and covers the roller. I would have preferred to pay a little more and get a sturdier flip up bracket and higher quality bearings.

Very solid, well engineered stand. The roller is excellent. The ball bearing option is a plastic surround that attachess to the same axle as the roller. The ball bearings work poorly, but the stand with just the rollers is a good value.

I bought one of these to replace two cheaper stands a while back. I find them very sturdy and easy to level. I've since ordered another one and will recommend these to anyone. They are solid and well worth the price.

This is the best of the T stands I've used. The ball bearing attachment has a tendency to slip under heavy load and thus doesn't get used often. The leg levelers are a great idea but have no mechanism to prevent them from falling off and becoming lost. I solved this by running a piece of threaded rod through the entire length of each foot and capping each end with a fender washer /lock nut. It is disappointing that this still has not been addressed on the product as I pointed this out years ago. I am considering buying another one of these stands.

Purchased two stands for in/out feed use and couldn't be more pleased with the product. My existing stands never worked well and were very hard to use on my very uneven pole barn concrete floor. All my power tools are mobile which raises the working surface. These stands work with all my tools and are very easy to adjust and level. Heavy duty? Oh Yea! I am sure they will outlast me. Definitely worth the price.

The handle (on the 1/2" bolt) for tightening the upright was broken and made the stand unusable.

As a full time self employed woodworker I've virtually destroyed 3 lesser quality roller stands purchased from the big box stores in the past 6 months. I finally decided to spend the extra bucks and buy some quality stands. These Rockler stands are solid enough to stand up to professional use. I use them every day. They simply won't tip over, wobble, or slip. Highly recommended!

Both the rollers and ball bearings work great and the weight and construction are good. I like how the ball bearings fold out of the way so they don't need to be stored separately.

What to do? I had the need to joint and glue boards 103" long x 3/4" x 10". All I have is a Shopsmith 4" jointer with 28" of infeed and outfeed length. No problem. I set the Heavy Duty Roller stand about four feet out from the outfeed table and zeroed it level with a 50" aluminum straight edge. This roller stand is rock solid and gave me the necessary outfeed support. Glue-up was perfect.

This is a heavy-duty stand and should not be classed with some of the lighter weight roller stands on the market. The base is well designed and the rubber caps on the end of the floor tubes are eccentric so that you can rotate them independent of each other to adjust for any floor unevenness. This is a very nice design touch that makes the stand rock solid. The rollers can be extended much higher that my original light-weight stand (that I have fought with for years!) and as such works with a drill press and band saw too. Another well-thought out product. Thank you.

I love the roller portion, but I find the ball bearings cheap and do not roll smoothly.
The ball bearings are housed in plastic. I was very disappointed in that. For very light loads, the ball bearings work OK, but when I tried cutting 3/4 inch plywood, it became really difficult to push through. Maybe that’s normal for ball bearing stands, this is the first one that I’ve owned. When I switched to the roller side, the wood moved so smoothly, I almost had to hold it back. I give five stars for the roller portion and one star for the ball bearings.

I have an old set of support stands I purchased elsewhere a few years ago and suffered with them way too long! I finally bought a pair of these stands and they are great! They're strong, stable, versatile, and take very little storage space(when they get a chance to rest!). They are very much worth the cost! Rockler, keep up the good work and keep the innovations coming!!

Fast delivery, the stand seems very strong. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the ball rollers being mounted in plastic but I am sure that Rockler would not put out something that did not work well. I have had problems with wood I cut binding in my table saw and this stand has been a big help. My problem had actually become a safety conern for me. So far I am pleased with the roller stand. It should do the job!

This stand has 2 heads. That was one reason I bought it. It is a quality heavy duty support stand that I would recommend for anyone needing a support stand. I have always been impressed by the quality of the "Rockler" tools that Rockler has invented. Please keep up the good work Rockler!

Already owned a roller stand with a single T bottom and a fold out leg that would sometimes collapse. This one stays standing. It’s heavy and harder to maneuver but it’s stable. Don’t fully understand the need for two lock-knobs but they do keep the height setting. Theonly reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that raising and lowering of the ball bearing could be a lot easier. I would consider buying another for the infeed side

I love the roller stand -- yes, the bearings seem flimsy but I don't expect to use them much. The unit is very solid overall. As for the panel support attachment: Also a solid piece, very useful, but I have a very small quibble. Since you have to add a shop-made crosspiece, and they recommend 2x4 stock, would it kill them to include bolts longer than 1.5"? Plan to counterbore quite a bit to go through the wood, the metal stand, and still have enough threads protruding on the other side for the nut to catch. The bolt heads are quite large, probably needing a #12 counterbore bit. (A #10, my largest, wasn't enough.)

This is a excellent quality roller stand. My old roller stand was cheap and lightweight and it was only a matter of time before it wore out. I especially like the weight of the Rockler stand since it is unlikely to tip over when hadnling heavy lumber. One added feature I would like to see on a roller stand would be a hand crank to adjust height (like the one on my drill press). This feature would make it the ultimate roller stand for ease of fine tuning height. I always have believed in buying quality products because you pay for what you get.

I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of this stand. The main thing that attracted me to it is the fact that it adjusts vertically. I have another roller stand that adjusts at an angle and I have discovered that if it is not perfectly parallel with the surface you align it will not be level, but higher at one corner than the other. That is not a problem with this one. The flip roller ball part is a good idea, the balls on mine do not roll very freely.

Roller stand came in its original box with absolutely no padding. As a result, one of the tabs, which hold the roller shaft, was bent in transit and ball bearing assembly would not snap over the top properly. I was able to resolve the problem by removing the spring loaded roller nice feature and straightening the tab with a mallet although powder coat is now cracked where it was bent. The stand is made of very heavy duty materials and I look forward to using one that does not fall over all the time, like my old three-footed ones. I agree with others that the ball bearings are not as smooth as they should be. This seems to be due to the fact that they are installed directly into a plastic housing I assume to avoid needing grease, which could transfer to your wood . I would gladly pay extra for a better assembly where the balls ride in a teflon or delrin seat for smoother operation. Lastly, the unit I received utilizes two lock knobs of different sizes side by side. This seems redundant, especially given that the size of the larger knob seems adequate. There are no instructions included, however, that might explain why this was done. All in all, I think this will be a big improvement over my old stands, but it seems a little "tweaking" would make it better still.
