I've had no trouble with my sanding sitter. It saves a lot of time by not having to turn the sander off and wait for it to wind down before sitting it on the work bench while I handle board stock. The only problem I've found is that it wants to suck up the pad when I'm using the dust collector. No problem, just shut off the shopvac.

It does what it says - sort of. Should be easily afixed to a bench as it jumps around at first. It is usable if you remember that.

This works great if you have a orbital sander 5 inch. I was looking for something to put my sander on while running had to catch the sander many time so it would not fall of bench would recommend maybe fastening down permanently or possible using Velcro on bottom to hold in place.

I've always wanted a place to set down the sander while it was winding down and was excited to see such a product existed. It works just great when I get the sander set on it just right, but often times I hit the rim trying to put the sander in place and that sends the rubber insert in the sitter flying all the way across the shop. I think the hole could have been an inch wider to make it easier to hit with a spinning sander.

Great idea! Now I don't have to worry about setting my sander down and trying to remember to shut it off. Quite a few times I had to chase the sander across my workbench! Now it stays put and gets cleaned at the same time!

Editor's note: We hope you're not using the sander to scale that fish Bob!
