A. Pick your hinges first:
This will determine what size overlay is needed.
B. Measuring opening size:
(Do not order by these opening size dimensions.)
Measure all door openings, round down to the nearest 1/16''. Always write width first.
C. Figuring order sizes: For 1/2'' overlay add 1'' to the width and add 1'' to the height of each opening size. If your application requires a different overlay, adjust the measurements accordingly. For inset application, subtract no less than 1/4'' on both width and height of cabinet opening measurements. Door and drawer fronts will be custom - made to sizes you specify, so measure carefully. Standard drawer wood grain runs horizontally.
- Order two doors to cover any opening more than 22'' wide. Doors over 26'' in width and/or 48'' to 50'' in height may have double panels.
- Minimum Size Information: If you use a minimum size you must add 4'' to the other dimension.
- We guarantee no warping or cracking on doors sized up to 23'' wide and/or 46'' high; drawer fronts up to 30'' wide and/or 12'' high. Doors over 60'' require and additional $75 charge per order. Please check measurements carefully - accuracy is essential! 25% restocking charge on custom orders. Minimum charge per drawer is 216 square inches.

I wanted to express how extremely satisfied I am with the custom cabinet doors I recently ordered. I have been purchasing standard products from Rockler for a while now and frankly, I have never been disappointed. Quality, price, delivery and customer service have always been great. With regard to the order for custom doors, I really didn’t know what to expect. I tried cutting the raised panels myself, but didn’t have the caliber of machinery necessary to produce the level of quality I wanted. You guys exceeded my expectations. You delivered better than expected and I cannot adequately express just how satisfied I am. The doors were perfect. Not OK, Not Good – PERFECT!!!
Thank you for establishing and maintaing the level of perfection that has come to represent Rockler, in everthing you do. Whether you are producing the products yourself, or receiving them from a vendor, you have established a standard of excellence that not many others can boast to have achieved. Thank you once again.

The finish and craftsmanship were excellent. The finish was smooth as silk and no sanding marks. The packaging was threefold: doors enclosed in cardboard and banded, then enclosed in two pieces of plywood and banded, then enclosed in another layer of cardboard, styrofoam corners and banded. It took less than two weeks. Excellent product!!!!!!! Thank you Rockler!!!!!!

I very rarely leave online reviews, but I had to say something about the frame-and-panel doors I recently ordered. In one word, perfect!
Everything about the doors was absolutely perfect:
1) The doors were cut exactly to the dimensions I provided!
2) The joints were all extremely tight!
3) The wood I ordered maple was clear, had beautiful grain that was well-matched and was free of defects!
4) The doors were sanded very well and ready for finishing!
5) They are double-boxed for shipment and arrived in perfect condition.
As many woodworkers, I am stickler for detail and would not be pleased with inferior quality. These doors have exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to order them again in the future.

My wife had some really nice, $2000 pieces made for a big screen, projection TV. The TV eventually died and so we had this big hole for the TV. It was really difficult find a projection the same size, so we decided to build from Mahogany a stand for a new LCD big screen TV.
The tool on Rockler's website is very good and I was able to very closely match the rounded frame, inset panels and wood. I ordered these in Cherry wood and then used a custom stain from a local wood store that seemed close to the color, and then sprayed with low gloss finish. They turned out very nice from my point of view. The custom Rockler doors are the three you see in the middle, and then the doors I was trying to match are on each side.
The doors are EXTREMELY well packed for shipping and were flawless in design, shape and wood quality. You really can't expect anything more or better quality.
I am back to now order more doors for a storage/bookshelf/desk system I'm building for our son's bedroom from Ash.

I could not have been happier with these doors. We had a local company build other cabinets, but they went out of business before the last set of doors were completed. With the options available I was able to match all the profiles. Not having to fill and sand made the finishing a breeze. The oak was clean and had beautiful grain. Both doors were the exact size I ordered and were packed incredibly well. This is a fantastic product.

Terrible quality, every door ordered was 1/8" to 3/16" oversized. Five of the doors were damaged, one had to be replaced, which the door company did replace within 2 weeks. The shaker style doors have 2-1/4" outer stiles and rails but the center stile is 1- 1/2" which looks cheap, some of the doors had knots, splits. I normally make my own doors but thought I would save some time, never again!
