I used a 3" hole saw for the large grommet and wrapped a couple of layers of black electricians tape around the lip to make it fit snug.

I used the grommets to cover the holes in the ceiling of a porch that was cut in to access the studs above the ceiling so that we could hang our porch swing without the holes being open.
We ALWAYS get great service from Rockler.

Great design, used it in an attic installation for bunch of wires. I used a 2-3/8 hole saw, worked fine, but probably not as snug a fit as the 80mm hole saw.

The product is excellent however finding an 80mm hole saw is next to impossible at the local hardware store. It should be made to accomodate a more common size hole saw.

I purchased the flexigrommet with the idea of finishing the back end of an entertainment center I just built. The problem I encountered was trying to find a 2-3/8 hole saw or Forstner bit to drill the hole. I just spent 50 hours bulding the unit and I didn't want to atack it with my jigsaw to get the job done. Nor did I wish to pay $30 to $50 to buy a one time needed tool. Instead of using this item I purchased the vent which is Rectangular plastic and cut the dastardly jigsaw hole I was trying to avoid.

Good design, but finding a hole saw was difficult and expensive. Rather than buy a one-time-use hole saw, ended up cutting a larger hole and then wrapping for a snug fit.

I really like the design of this grommet, although the hole saw for the necessary hole is hard to find.
