Apply with a dampened clean soft cloth to remove old oils, wax and grease from any wood surface. After the surface is clean, apply General Finish’s topcoats or Satin Wax to bring back luster.

I just finshed my very first woodworking project (A workbench of course...couldn't do much without it!) and I can honestly say I did it mistake-free because of the advice from Charlie at the Rockler Store on S.Lyndale Ave. in Minneapolis.
He sold me what I needed, not what I thought I needed. (which would have been about twice as much!) He was very patient with all my questions, and gave me great advice on how to do things.
