Product came on time. I installed on the bottom of a pocket door in my bathroom. It works fine.

The wheels came as described, however two of the four wheels are rusty and look used. One of the two even has a slight pitting that stops the wheel sometimes.
Overall the product will serve, however the specific pieces I received were substandard from the high-quality I have come to expect.

Editor's note: Our customer service at 800-376-7856 will be able to arrange to replace those for you Bob.

I added these to the legs of a small end table so my wife could roll the table toward the bed when she wanted to. Though the 3/4" ball-bearing feet are a little noisy and don't move across carpet as well as wheel-casters would, I'm still very pleased with these because they do not raise the table appreciably and look awkward as wheel-casters would have. I was surprised the product does not include mounting screws, but I successfully mounted these by drilling shallow recess holes in the bottoms of the legs and using epoxy glue and no fasteners.

I built a small stand for my portable table saw and added 4 of these casters. The table saw moves very easily. To stablize the saw when in use, I added four kick-down door stops, one to each side of the stand. Now the saw moves only when I want it to. No need to buy expensive portatable table saw frames.

I used these casters under a very heavy fine piece of furniture I builded for a 40 inches LCD TV. There is no way for one person to move the cabinet without casters, now you can push it in any direction with just one finger.

If you have a workshop and enjoy more flexibility from a product then this is a great caster. They're heavy and easily hidden. Easily installed anywhere with minimum space. All it is is a big ball bearing. This is a very useful caster for heavy duty usage.

These casters entail some of the lowest quality metal forming I have seen. The caster body shape is irregular and rough-edged, the ball fit is sloppy and its rolling action is noisy and catches intermittently. They may be appropriate for light duty applications where they will not be seen but they fall seriously short for my use.

These casters install and work really well, however, they are very noisy! I intended to use them on a small chair for my wife's use in a school room, but the noise was simply unacceptable.

I finished building a panel saw [] although it included two casters on each side it was very heavy and hard to move because I had to tip it up on to the casters and balance it. I added just one of the ball casters and solved my problem. I am sure i will find uses for the other three ball casters that came in the four-pack.

These things are too noisy. Wish I had figured out a different solution for the bottom of my much-less-than-100lb lectern. They didn't come with screws either but if you look at those tiny holes, good luck finding ones small enough. I didn't think they rolled all that great either.

The 1" balls are not well made and reflect this dramatically. Forty years ago I had used all three sizes occasionally for misc. furniture projects. They were excellent performers.T hese balls are primitive by comparision, very noisy, balk dangerously and annoyingly in performance and quite a disappointment. These ones rate a "fair" only because they minimally function in an industrial grade application. I'm going to pump them full of lithium grease and let them drain for 6 months before they might be allowed on a carpet.

Casters are as described. Problem with using them in a residential garage is that as soon as they pick up any dirt or sand the ball gets hung up and drags across the floor rather than roll. Considering $, I am not happy with the product.

These casters were purchased for a small upholstered vanity stool. The size was perfect in order to conceal the caster and, I might add, not an easy one to find. I searched all over the internet including several caster companies and Rockler was the only company I could find with this type of item that could be recessed. The casters didn't come with mounting screws and it was a little difficult to find a screw that small. In the end though, the wheels were very noisy and did not roll smoothly across the porcelain tile flooring and, consequently I had to remove them. Too bad they don't make this item with a rubber ball-I think that would have worked better for my application since weight was not an issue.

Purchased these ball casters for a cabinet job. They were to be applied to the bottom of cabinet box which was 14"x28"x12". The casters where to track in groove that I plowed with a 3/4 core box bit. The caster that I was going to use had a 3/4" ball. First off these are the loudest things that I have ever heard come from a ball bearing that is "operational". Secondly, the bearings on every caster must have been pitted because the ball would bind up under a light load - the weight of the above mentioned cabinet as well as with hand pressure. I would only reccomend these casters on a film set where only the appearance of a ball caster was required, not its function.

They worked okay once I sprayed a bottle of drycote on them. They are a bit noisey.

I have come to expect such good quality, these took me by surprise. I made the mistake of installing them on a toy box which I then placed on a tight knit carpet. The noise is worse than fingernails on a chalk board. The roll mechanism which produces this noise is poor and uneven. I can't possibly use these. The noise would drive me and the kids crazy.

Installation is easy and the assembly rolls nicely. Installed them on tapered chairleg bottoms to give the chair a sleek look. They are a bit noisy but I don't intend to move the chair much. They roll over a thick piled carpet too. That part surprised me.
