I purchased these to replace some broken feet on a Slow Cooker. I knew they would be flexible to a point and that's good as the slow cooker won't slide around. I'm not quite sure how warm the bottom gets but it only took three to replace the old ones, which comes down to a little over $1. a foot so even if they only last a year or two, I know where I can find some more. I replaced the steel screws with brass stow bolts which is why I only rated them as very good because they replaced the old ones perfectly. I even got to use the slow cooker for the SuperBowl! nacho dip

I used these as feet on the bottom of a cutting board I had made, and they are perfect--durable, yet soft enough to keep the board from sliding around during use. I did replace the screws with stainless steel ones (to avoid a problem with rust), and added tiny stainless washers under the screw heads to make sure the screws would never pull through. I am very satisfied with the product.

I purchased several sets of these over a year ago. They were a medium hard plastic. They worked well for some step stools for my grandchildren. A new grandchild, another step stool. Another set of these feet were ordered. The new ones are the same size and shape, but the recent ones are much more pliable and made of a softer plastic or rubber. I am having trouble with these new feet pulling over the screw head when used on this new step stool. As a workaround, I swapped older harder plastic feet from an endgrain cutting board made last year with the softer feet on the new step stool, and all is well. If you need feet on an object that might receive moderate side load, be aware that this might not be the item you need. You may find that when subjected to a side force, these feet may pull over the screw head. I rated item good rather than very good or excellent because of this inconsistency.
