Gang lock for tall doors

Tall doors are no problem for the gang lock! Get secure locking capabilities and help prevent door warping with this three-point door locking system. The Gang Lock is easy to install and features a center catch and bars that rotate to catch locking pins on the top and bottom of the cabinet.

It takes a little playing around to figure out but you can use it for left or right hand doors. I used it on a left hand door by switching top and bottom latches with their brackets.

3) Submitted by W, from St Paul, MN on 8/30/2009 Customer Rating: Good solid lock. The instructions are not very informative, but it's easy to figure out. All the pictures show the lock being used on the left door, However my lock only works on the right. If the stile on your door is wide enough you could use it on either door. Just sacrifice the center catch. The key is a skeleton key so be sure and get a cover plate for the key hole. Also I had to make a space for the center catch on my doors. If the gap in my doors was closer I would have avoided this step and been able to use a simple block of wood with a cut out. Instead of the long dust plate I had to make behind the left door and then make room for the rod guides with the Dremel. Well worth the $29 for quality, but get the lock before you build or install your doors.

4) Submitted by Garrison, from Severn, MD on 6/2/2011 Customer Rating: Nice overall lock. Very secure with the 3 point locking. As others stated, it has a skeleton key which I DON'T like. As for being reversible, it is. I even took one apart because it bugged me having the key orientation opposite for the two. It is pretty easy to pop off the backing staked on, but barely, pull out the bolt, and then rotate the disk that has the key orientation pin by 180 degrees.

5) Submitted by John Kauffman, from Exeland, WI on 1/23/2013 Customer Rating: Just installed this lock for tall cabinets. The plastic insert that held the guide peg for the key broke. I had to take the lock apart and instal a small bolt through the lock case for a guide pin.
