I used the Oval Handle on a 130 year old Ebony Cane that had a leather handle that had become lost. I was able to mount the cane on my lathe and cut a tenon on the handle end. I was lucky the cane and handle were the same size and it looks like they were made for each other. High quality.

Guys!!! I took this Eagle head to [local home center], & it screwed onto the threaded end of a piece of 7/8 black waterpipe, like it was born there! Took a 4 ft length of that home, cut it down, sanded & sprayed it gloss black, popped a rubber cane tip on the other end, & now I have a generic looking Trojan Horse walking stick, For less than $25!

I hand carve very unique walking sticks and hiking staffs. I purchased two of Rockler's Brass cane heads and attached them to pieces of highly carved Teak Wood. They're beautiful, very fine quality, and added an very high touch of class to the pieces. Shipping was fast and after dealing with other companies for over 30 years, Rockler is now my choice for not only cane heads, but all my hardward needs.

I used the oval cane head because it screws to the cane at the bottom, but it also unscrews into two halves at the equator, so the enterprising stickmaker may hide goodies inside. (See my review under the Brass Cane Hardware to find out what I hid under the one pictured here.) The hardware works great and installs very easily. I glued the threaded collar on with epoxy as insurance against it working loose, since the cocobolo is too hard for the threads to engage it very well. I've road tested this hardware along with the screw-joints and brass tips on a 12,000 mile trip already, and it works great! In fact, I'm getting ready to start making more of these for friends!

Really nice casting - good detail, no flash or parting lines or anything like that. I haven't started on the project yet, but it looks like it should go together perfectly easily.

Thank you for the fast service, and beautiful product. We have been looking for a honest internet hardware dealer for sometime (getting out and about is difficult for me). After looking for weeks I found you. I can't say anything bad about this product as it came fast, and is top notch. The cane handle is made to the best standards with accurate measurements. I also wrote your company before I ordered and was give exact information. I was treated as if I was spending millions, this treatment alone lead to my purchase. I hope to do more business with you, I sure was impressed with your Company, so keep up the great service. I’m sure I’ll be back.

"I have been buying your products for several years now. When I need supplies or parts for my woodshop I always go to your catalog. I receive other woodworking catalogs, but I always order from Rockler. The products are great and I have never been disapointed in the products. I purshased the table saw miter sled when it first came out. It has saved me time, money, materials. It is great. Thanks again."
