I used both the safety straps and tray hardware and I have to say that they are of the best quality. I built this high chair for my sister's first grandchild using scavenged downed cypress from their land.

I made my first high chair. I will purhcase the hardware and the #85771 safety strap from Rockler again. Very pleased with this item, it is a 3 point secure strap that keeps the little critters from sliding down with a strap between the legs also. Everthing I have purchased from Rockler has been of best quality and very satisfying results for each project. Thanks, it is nice to get what you are really looking for!

I average building one high chair every eighteen months; currently I am finishing number ten. I make them for friends and family, hoping they will keep them as heirlooms. The first two were made in 1992, and have been well used. Everything put into these chairs must be of quality and built to last, including the tray hardware and the restraining straps. Afterall, who would put their precious infant in something of poor quality? Thank you Rockler for suppling so very many of my woodworking needs; I don't even consider looking elsewhere.
