Traditional Cane is made from the outer bark of the rattan palm-- a climbing vine that grows to the top of tropical forest canopies. Natural cane is also impervious to damp, humid conditions and may be stained, painted or varnished (gel stains are best followed with a clear coat), but does not need a finish.

Choose Conventional Weave, Modern Closed Weave or Modern Open Weave.

I had purchased a rustic pine cabinet last summer that needed to be refinished. The door panels had been replaced with luan. I removed the luan and considered frosted glass panels, but finally decided on can webbing. It looks fabulous.
