Recently bought Maple,Walnut and Cherry for boxes that I make for Christmas.
All of the wood was exact in size a bit long to make a square cut The Maple was beautiful, the Walnut was nice as was the Cherry!
Also very happy with the inlays. Easy to work with and a few minutes work makes a huge difference in the look of your work, Very satisfied

I used Rockler maple to make this wood model marble dispenser. It simulates how some of the first coin operated vending machines worked. Quality of maple wood was excellent.

Customer Rating:

Very good quality dimensional maple with very little jointing required. Nice texture and grain with only one 'flyer' of a darker color in the large group. I will certainly use it again. (The trolley has a top center drawer and the lower left shelf is on a slider for heavy kitchen tools).

I ordered 2 pieces of maple....4-3/4 x 3/4 x 36.

I'm building the wooden mechanisms described in Mechanical Marvels book.

Wood was excellent. No knots and ready to saw and use.

Maple is very nice with no knots. Color is well matched between six 3ft. pieces. Milling is precise. A minimal amount of wave from the planed surface but sands out easily. Only con is one piece was slightly bowed but I think it will straighten out ok.
