I was more than happy with the cherry wood received in my last order. It was planed and ready to use. The color is perfect for the project for which it's to be used.
The wood is being used for building the Snack Tray Cabinet shown in "Woodsmith", Vol.30/No.180.

The quality of cherry received was pretty nice besides 1 small knot. However, do not expect to get the reddish color shown in the pictures, I received more of a white colored piece (sapwood) and when clearcoated, it became light brown.

The wood glued together just as they came. Excellent wood and were very dry, straight, flat and easy to work with. I was very happy with the way they Stain and finished in lacquer. I have used Rockler's wood before and have all ways been pleased.
