Other than a large knot at one end, the board I received was flawless! It was very straight, very simple but yet nice grain, and it has a great aroma. It looks basically the same as mahogany, however this board was much darker than most mahogany I've seen. This will make a great guitar neck. From knock testing it, it does sound a little less resonant than some other wood I've gotten, but still nothing to complain about. It is very light weight too. Good and affordable substitute for mahogany if you ask me!
