The 1/4" thick x 2.75" x 30" cocobolo I received was great! I used it to make a small dovetailed box and it worked out beautifully. Customer service at Rockler was also great and friendly. I look forward to ordering from them again soon. One note on the cocobolo wood: if you are allergic to poison ivy then you will want to take care with cocobolo. Its oils can react the same way as poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, etc with your skin. I found out the hard way! Ha! I still want to order more though, because it is great wood.

I ordered a 1/2" thick piece of this cocobolo. I was planning on cutting it up to use as drawer fronts in a project, but when I saw the beautiful cathedral pattern on this piece, I couldn't cut it up. Whatever I make it will look amazing.

Purchased 1/2 inch plank to use for knife handles. Excellent wood, very dense and strong and sands to a beautiful finish. I can make about 10 knife handles sets for the price of one from the knife store. I highly recommend this product.

Hey wood workers, don't worry about not seeing the product you are purchasing. I received 1/8" cocobolo and each piece is outstanding in appearence and overall quality. Intense figure in each piece. Color and characteristics matched between each piece. I bought a few pieces to see what I was getting; will be purchasing much more. Great stock Rockler!

The picture on the web site was of a nice piece of dark wood with no white in it. I really liked it and needed a 6" wide piece so I ordered it. Got a call from the company, which was nice, saying they did not have it 6" wide could I use 2- 3" wide pieces ? I said ok I could glue they together. When I got them there is a 1/2 " or wider white strip of on wood the edge of both pieces, which I did not want, and they are warped so bad when I plain them sguare so I can glue them together they will be to narrow for what I need.
