I keep this router fitted with a 1/8" round-over bit. Easy to control and perfect for knocking off the sharp edges and giving them a little ease.

Never thought I would use a 1/4 inch router, but the size of this one gives me much more control when doing close work. It is also ideal for flush trimming edges. I have two 1/2 inch routers (both attached to tables) but this one works great for hand held work. The micro adjustment allows precise height with little trouble.

Used the laminate trimmer with a 1/4" carbide straight bit to set different field levels for a relief carving. It was much easier to handle for this purpose than my full size plunge router. Worked great.

Great laminate trimmer and a great deal for [price]. I bought 4 for the price of 2.
"I am disabled and my doctors advised me to get a hobby of some kind. After a lot of consideration and talks with my 13yr old son, we decided on woodworking. We turned an extra bedroom into a workshop and we now both just love it. I have done business with many companies on the internet and on the phone ( not just woodworking companies) and i have never found a company that gets an A+ on everything like Rockler does. Rockler has very kind people that treat you well over the phone and they stand behind their products 100% like no other company i have ever done business with. You can be sure that my son and myself will always be Rockler customers." -
