LongLife Filter Element: Cloth-based LongLife Filter features a special “M” fold to prevent build-up. Tough fabric is more wear resistant when the scrubber handle is used. Every other fold is shorter, easily allowing dust to shake out when the handle is pulled. Designed to trap particles down to 1 micron while maintaining airflow, allowing you to reach full capacity without clogging or caking.

Disposable Filter Bag: Filter bags capture and contain dust and debris, helping you work cleaner and more efficiently. Festool filter bags act as the primary, or first stage filter, trapping particles down to 5 microns in size. With a double layer of filtration made of tear resistant material, and a cap to seal it for disposal, filter bags are a must for optimum performance and convenience. Filter bags prevent dust from reaching the main filter of the dust extractor, thus greatly extending the life of the main filter and dust extractor.

HEPA Filter Element: The highest standard for filtration, HEPA filters capture 99.99% of all particulate matter down to .3 microns. HEPA filters (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) have quickly become the new standard for wood dust collection, both in the workshop and on the jobsite. LongLife Re-Usable Filter Bag: Designed with a non-stick, micropore plastic lining, the Longlife filter bag can be used over and over again, up to 500 times. The Longlife filter bag saves money on filter bag replacement while offering a convenient and easy means to capture and dispose of large wood chips. Not recommended for use with the fine dust creating by sanding.
