Alan Lacer has been active in woodturning since 1976 as a turner, demonstrator, instructor, writer, show curator and organizer. He is past president of the American Association of Woodturners. In 1999 he was named “Honorary Lifetime Member” by the AAW for his contributions to the field of woodturning.
