This dust extractor hose is specially designed to connect the Festool Planex Drywall Sander (#44709) and the Festool CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor (#44167). At 36mm wide, it has a larger capacity for the large volumes of dust created when sanding drywall, and it has a unique flange that clips securely onto the Planex Drywall Sander so it won't wiggle loose and blow dust everywhere. Light and flexible, it is ideal for the overhead work so common with drywall sanding.

The Festool 11.5 Ft. Dust Extractor Hose (496972) is compatible with the Festool CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor, sometimes referred to as the Festool CT 36 E AC Dust Extractor (Festool #584014, Rockler #44167) and the the Planex Drywall Sander (Festool #571579, Rockler #44709, sold separately).
