Festool Dust Extractor Blast Gate for CT 36 AutoClean

Festool's Dust Extractor Blast Gate is a dual-purpose attachment for the Festool CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor (#44167). It's primary purpose is to cut off the flow of air and trigger the CT 36 to begin a deeper cleaning cycle of the filter. This more aggressive cleaning cycle allows you to get more life out of your filter elements as they near the end of their life. The second purpose is to seal off the opening to the interior of the dust extractor, preventing fine drywall dust from drifting out when the vacuum is not on.
