Birdseye Maple Lumber

Rockler: Birdseye Maple Lumber Birdseye Maple is considered a very hard wood with a distinctive grain structure that resembles tiny, swirling eyes disrupting the smooth lines of grain. Back in the days when furniture was all made by hand, Birdseye Maple was used only by the most capable craftsman. Due to advances in tooling and woodworking techniques, these days Birdseye Maple is a common fixture in private jets, high class automobiles, musical instruments, architectural panels, kitchen utensils, entertainment centers, picture frames, high end cabinets and furniture, jewelry boxes, pool cues, and flooring. This lumber is surfaced to 15/16" thick (nominal) and is generally white but may contain some brown.

NOTE: The lumber on this page is offered in random widths from 3'' to 6'' and is priced in units of square feet (SF).
