The Scroll Saw Club Meets in the shop at the Clarence High School the 3rd Thurs. of each month. For Information Call Joe Moronski (716) 565-1095 Attention all woodturners: Check out www.wnywoodturners.com for clubs and upcoming seminars and workshops. Lockport Woodworkers Membership Application The Lockport Woodworkers club meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, except for July and August when they do not meet. Meetings are held at the Dale Center, 33 Ontario Street, Lockport, NY 14094. Sometimes meetings are held at individual members’ workshops and other area locations. Our annual dues are $10.00, $5.00 more with US Postal mailing of newsletter. Typical meetings start at 7:00 PM with the President reporting on old and new club business. This is followed by a Show & Tell time where by club members show and/or tell about items related to woodworking or woodturning that they brought in. A short break takes place when members may purchase 50/50 raffle tickets before our main event. The main event of the meeting is the Monthly Program related to woodworking and/or woodturning by a club member or an invited guest. Meetings normally last about 2 hours. There is also a woodturning group that meets on the second Saturday of the month starting at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dale Center. This is a very active group as there is a lot of interest in woodturning. Show & Tell as well as a monthly program keeps this group active and learning.
