Overview: Make sure all your shop tools are in good shape and ready to run for the winter.

Bandsaw 101 with Bob Brancheau

Date: January 3, 2015

Time: 10am - 2pm

Overview: Learn how to setup your band saw to help eliminate drift by selecting the right blade and tuning up your band saw. Also learn about jigs and fixtures that will help you with ripping and resawing.

Woodworking 101: Part 1 of 2 with John Carignan

Overview: In this first part of a 2 part class you will learn about table saws, planers and jointers. What they are used for and how to use them.

Overview: In this second part of a 2 part class you will learn about Routers, Router Tables and Band saws. What they are used for and how to use them.

Overview: Learn how to use jigs and fixtures, including crosscut sleds, tenoning jigs, taper jigs and more.

Bowl Turning Basics with Jay Hakerem

Date: January 13, 2015

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Overview: For decades, the wooden bowl has been one of the most cherished items to come out of any shop. This class is an excellent introduction to the creation of "turned" bowls. Students should have previous lathe experience. At the end of the class, each student will leave with their very first turned bowl.

Sign Making on the CNC with Jeff Slaton

Date: January 15, 2015

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Overview: Looking at adding a CNC machine to your shop, or have you already purchased one?  Learn to put it to work making signs.  This class will walk you through the process of designing your sign, creating tool paths, and producing your sign.

Sharpening with Bob Brancheau

Overview: Learn how the Tormek system can restore your beat up tool and give them the life they once had. Bring a tool and we will show you how.

Pen Turning Basics with Jonathan Youngwirth

Date: January 20, 2015

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Overview: Pen turning on the lathe is a great hobby that can also make extra money. Jonathan will show students the basic steps of how to set up your lathe with the right mandrel and bushings for easy turning with great results. You will leave the class with a top notch looking pen and the skills needed to make many more.

Advance Pen Turning with Jonathan Youngwirth

Date: January 22, 2015

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Overview: Pen making is giving a whole new twist with the exciting and challenging aspects of acrylics. Students should have some basic lathe experience--the "Pen Turning Basics" class is perfect. At the end of this class, students will go home with a hand-crafted acrylic pen.

DIY with Bob Brancheau

Overview: Learn how to DIY using Kreg products. If you purchased a Kreg System, you should attend this class.
