Turning a Gavel - with Ron Helgerson

Overview: Turn a gavel.  Ron will describe and show how it quickly and easy it is to turn a gavel.  Hands on class.  Students will leave with a completed gavel they make.  Class size 5.

Letter Carving Basics - with Badger Roullett

Date: August 16, 2014

Time: 12pm - 5pm

Overview: Learn to engrave letters as an independent project or to embellish other projects.  Badger walks you through safety through proper use of carving knives to accomplish letter carving.  Class size 4.

Overview: Showing simple to complex methods of working with System Three products in woodworking.  From bar top coverings to rot repair, there are epoxies to make your project trouble free.

Introduction to Scroll Sawing - with Jim Klinger

Date: September 20, 2014

Time: 10:30am - 3:30pm

Overview: From proper blade selection to choosing the right woods, this class will cover it all.  Students will actually cut out their own figures after templates have been placed on wood.  Proper use and safety of Scroll Saw are covered.  All materials included in class price.

Woodturning 101 - with Ron Helgerson

Date: September 27, 2014

Time: 9am - 3:30pm

Overview: From safety to proper use of a lathe.  Speeds, proper mounting, wood selection, use of tools and more are discussed and shown.  Hands on class.  All materials provided in class cost.
