This demo will cover more advanced techniques like segmentation and intarsia.  These similar techniques use a scroll saw to make decorative woodwork that looks hand carved.

Overview: This class is designed for those who have never done any scrolling before or have not in a long time and want to brush up. During this class, there will be a discussion of the various materials and type of blades that can be used with the scroll saw. Also there will be a discussion about other tools used in completing projects. You will learn how to prepare a project for cutting and suggestions for sanding and finishing a project. You will then get familiar with the scroll saw by practicing various cuts and end the class by making a set of quilt block coasters.
