The WS 3000 is a shortcut to tool sharpening that has greatly upgraded my hand tools. I blend the docking features and free hand work to achieve different results for my chisels and plane blades. I would have liked to receive the wide blade attachment and the leather honing disc with my purchase of the unit as they are essentials, but the sticker shock would prevent a lot of buyers so I understand why they are secondary purchases. You will need the wide blade attachment, this is worthless for plane blades with out that.

I found that you need to play the CD and read the manual before you can start sharpening tools. I think the CD is really a great idea because unlike other people that have reviewed this machine I learn better by someone explaining and showing...

2 Rockler router table
3 Ancient but lovingly restored Delta-Milwaukee 14" bandsaw with integral speed reducer gearbox
4 A stand I made to support a disk-belt sander and an 8" bench grinder
5 Delta drill press with Rockler table and fence
6 JET gravity fed metal cutting band saw
7 Ryobi electric log splitter My workshop is a two car garage, which has been insulated and is heatable with a commercial grade IR
overhead tube heater that burns natural gas and stirs up zero dust. It is very important for me to be able to easily move equipment into place for the task at hand, and
there is nothing more convenient for this than your All Terrain bases. Did I see similar orange rollers on the capsule that...
