Ordered a set and installed and the trouble started, stem broke on one. The next day another broke, waiting for the next wheel to go.

I used these ball casters to replace the old ones on a Thomasville server that is quite old, it was given to me by a friend and the old rollers made marks on my nice wood floor, therefore we have a nice replacement and can now feel comfortable in roller the server where ever we find it useful. Thank you.

I think I am going to use these on the table saw stand I am building using 8020inc's 1-1/2 aluminum extrusions. I'll just need to enlarge the mounting holes to accept the 5/16 SHCS.

I would not rate this Caster as heavy duty it is only rated up to 170 pounds . It does not take very long to load 170 pounds of weight on a caster no matter what you are using it for .

Review 1 of 4:
For about 12 years now I've bought 5 sets of mostly 3" poly casters for my various mobile power tools, the most recent being a larger 4" set for the new workbench i'm finishing. Although I recently had some material break off one wheel on my clamp rackapprox. 9-10 yrs. old, these have served quite well despite enduring a mostly non-climate controlled midwest garage shops. The only change I would ever make would be to make the brake release "button" a bit more accessible, although the small end of a tack hammer head works pretty good.

Review 1 of 6:
I used four of these casters on a shopmade router table cabinet, and would never use them again. Every single time I attempt to move the cabinet, the two wheels on the the side furthest away from the push/pull force always decide to set themselves at about a 30 degree angle from the direction I am trying to move the cabinet. The result is that I have to exert considerable sideways force to get the cabinet to travel the direction I want. This is very annoying.

Review 1 of 4:
I love these casters. I built four matching benches and tables, and mounted them all on four total-lock swivel casters to add flexibility in my small garage. One of the benches is quite heavy it stores my portable planer, mitre saw, and table saw. The casters support the weight with no problem, roll smoothly, and lock out with ease and confidence. Great product.

Bought a set of #40197 casters. Two of them broke right off the stem while handling the piece! Poorly made.
