Review 1 of 1:
This is the first time I have woven a seat. With the aid of The Caner’s Handbook (also from Rockler) it went very well. I like the reed and it made for a comfortable seat. I would prefer more of the longer pieces and fewer of the very short ones. It would require less splicing and make the job go faster. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable project and a nice change of pace.

This item is definitely not woth the $ I paid for it. The video is so dark and jumpy and the audio constantly is breaking up and crackerling. I am surprised, such a poor quality item.

Review 1 of 16:
As a small business owner specializing in upholstering and chair caning, I was pleased to find a local supplier of cane material. Rockler was prompt, efficient and best of all a superior quality to the out of state sources I previously frequented. Great site, can't wait to visit the store!!

Review 1 of 2:
I bought this caning needle and also come caning pegs to re-cane a broken antique chair from my childhood. It was my first caning attempt, and I challenge you to find my two little goofs! The caning needle was a huge help in "stage four" of the YouTube DIY video link (youtube.com/watch?v=wv7YfDIsjtE). The video shows the guy doing it by hand, but I don't see how. The weave is so tight at that stage that I couldn't work the cane through without this needle. All I used for my project were caning pegs available through Rockler, a few extra golf tees-not as good as the pegs, but they sort of work if you need extras- 3mm chair cane, a binding cane strip, a tub of water, wash cloth and spray bottle. Oh. I also bought a 3/16" dowel at Hobby Lobby to cut into pieces for...
