Have used the Clamp-Its that came with the small bar clamps for years and they were a pain to set up to say the least. These with the universal clamps are much easier to use...not perfect, but a lot easier to use. Because they are on sale, it is cheaper to buy the whole system rather than just the clamps to convert any existing Clamp-Its I have. Once Rockler has a really good sale on the universal clamps I will convert all that I have and donate the worthless bar clamps they came with.

I got these the other day and have used them Love them . was useing a board to do my straight liineing for cutting . These have saved me time at lining up . Wish I had gotten them a long time ago . Just line up the marks with one hand and tighten up with the other .

 This clamp is useless. It slips and won't cinch down. The problem is that the strap isn't positively secured to the capstan.

As usual for a Rockler new product it raises the bar for everyone in the category. These clamps work very easily and the adjustment mechanism is great.

Found it not very useful.
