I'm a small contractor who just finished remodeling the interior of a large old house. When I got the job, I knew there would be a lot of crown molding to install. Everyone knows that most old houses (and many new ones) don't have square corners, so I thought that a Starrett Protractor Angle Finder and a Crown Molding Compound Miter Jig might be a good investment. Turns out they were great investments! They paid for themselves in labor-hours saved on the very first day!
This house not only had corners that weren't square, but there were numerous angled walls as well. The Angle Finder made the miter cuts tight and exact, first time, every time. The Crown Molding Compound Miter Jig made each saw cut pretty much stupid-proof. If I never use these tools again, they won't owe me a dime!

I am in the process of putting up my first crown molding and this item was just the thing, that extra pair of hands was great. It is easy to use and the ability to actually position/slide the molding while I was on the ladder save a lot of time and frustration.

I have been a carpenter for nearly 20 years. I have tried all kinds of ways to install crown and none of them are more precise than this method. I do not use there angle finders because I like my digital one which I think is faster. If you are doing crown and have questions, then this is your go to for answers.

I purchased some of your wood carvings for a woodworking project. Photo is of how I applied them. The project is a Chanter stand which is now at St. George Orthodox Church in Allentown, PA. It measures 6' long by 4' high by 2' deep. I used red oak.

I used the Oak crown molding and oak dentil to complete some new kitchen cabinets I built. It matched perfectly the molding I bought 3 years ago when I started the cabinets. As usually happens, the project increased in size and I was short of molding. The delivery time was also great.

I am a average carpenter, in other words I don't do it for a living, this tool is fantastic, after a few practice cuts, it was a snap! My copes came out perfect! Wow a product that actually does as advertised! I highly recommend this product. If those who cannot figure it out, probably shouldn't be doing it in the first place!
