The quick-change taper drill countersinks work well. Runing at higher speeds helps the tapered drill in shedding chips, otherwise I've had problems with the chips packing solidly into the flutes. Be award that replacement tapered drills from Rockler only work with the Insty-Bit Quick-Change Taper Drill Countersink model they sell. Replacements don't have the 1/4" quick-change shank.
$24.19 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 12: After the first hole I took it apart to see why the hole was so bad. The spades were only rough ground and there was no relief at all on the blades. Using a slip stone I was able to smooth the rough edges, correct the relief angle and put some kind of edge on it. Seems to be made of soft steel so resharpening will no doubt be neccessary after every 100 holes or so. Not the quality I would expect.
$14.99 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 1: Good general use bits for a pretty fair price. Number you get of a specific size seems based on likely use and likelihood of breaking or otherwise fouling it. Just what I needed to keep me from the dreaded 'stop everything and head to the big box'.
From $3.59 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 16: Made in China..the size isn't even stamped on it to refer to when using. It does function though but I wouldn't guarantee that for a long time. I think you will be replacing or sharpening it soon. I wouldn't buy another one of this quality again.

$14.99 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 13: Bits are good and drill fine... but the set is missing the 1/2" size which for me is the MOST used bit. I think this is why the set is being sold so cheap. Editor's note: Bits are 3/8", 5/8", 11/16", 13/16", 7/8" and 15/16" sizes.
$17.99 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 6: I have used the Kreg pocket screw system for about 10 years and lots of work with several different applications. I originally bought 2 drill bits that have lasted this long. I have good reason to be very pleased with the quality and reliability of the product. I had to replace them because a friend borrowed one and broke the extension tip off by misuse. All the ones I have had have had the 1/2" pilot extension which properly set to the depth requirements has worked fine.
"I have made several online orders from Rockler, and the customer service has been great. While I have not had an unreasonable number of complications, I have had a few. Each time the folks at Rockler were very quick to respond, easy to work with and resolved the issue in the best way imaginable. Many thanks! I will be a customer for many years to come." -
