I have used this saw since I purchased my Fein FMM 250 Q several years ago and finally wore it out to the point that I use it for a scraper now. I bought the 3-pack which will keep me in saw blades for a long long time. These things go through moldings like they are butter.Undercutting door jambs to clear floor tile or laminate is a snap.

I just received the tool, used it only once to remove baseboard molding, after doing just 1 wall the blade has burned out dull,it has to cut nails the blades cost almost as much as the tool. I could accept this if the blades held up.

I have owned this vac for 3 years and it works great. Huge difference from a standard shop vac. Tool activated switch, super quiet, runs for a few seconds after you shut your power tool off, adjustable suction, soft start and the 16 foot hose is a huge plus, especially when using it with a sander. If you are not using Fein or Festool power tools be sure and buy the hose adapter so you can hook it up to standard size ports. For comparison - I also own a Festool CT36 dust extractor. The main difference - Festool comes with a sealed EPA certified HEPA filtration system super important when dealing with lead dust from old paint or asbestos, such as experienced in older home remodeling.
