First of all, one of the shelf supports for the unit was shipped without the threads to attach the slides. It took quite a bit of work to tap the four 1/4 - 20 threads into the pot metal by hand. Secondly, the template they shipped was off by more than 1/2". After I had installed the hardware, I had to take it all out again because the shelf would not make it through the opening. They advertise that the minimum opening is 13.5", and my opening is 15.75". But the shelf would not clear the opening until I moved the post back half an inch, and now it comes out at an odd angle, not at 90 degrees.

I had a carpenter install the system and couldn't be happier. The directions don't mention the chrome hubs-don't forget to put them on as you add the shelving.

I ordered this on Tuesday morning, and it arrived on Thursday afternoon, wow! I installed it on Saturday morning into a new cabinet, everything went great, couldn't have worked better. I would recommend this product to anyone. I looked at several other sites at similar products, some higher and some lower, I finally decided to go with Rockler since I have had good luck with them before. I felt more comfortable ordering from them. Thanks Rockler.

There's nothing especially "low-profile" about these bearings. They are the same standard 5/16" bearings available elsewhere. Statement about recessing allowing for barely noticeable 1/8" profile, makes it sound like the bearing itself is some kind of special recessed design, it's just a standard 5/16" Lazy Susan bearing.
