Good safety concept, poor execution in design. The paddle shouldn't be larger than the footprint of the body of the switch. Since the logical location for the switch is in the front- where it can be bumped with one's hip - because the super-sized paddle interferes with the aesthetics of the front of a well designed router table base. The worst flaw is the fact that the paddle flies off the switch every time it's used. You could  make a simple change to the plastic injection mold for the paddle and fix this problem. No excuse for the slipshod design.

The directions to set up and load is very lacking! on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 2 and I am being generous. Just hope it works better then the directions they give .

I just started getting into carving and I'm really happy with the quality of these chisels. They were already sharp when I initially opened the set so I was able to start carving right away. I would also recommend buying the Flexcut Slipstrop with the kit as it's really important to keep your tools sharp. It's easy to use and affordable.

I'm going to recind my other review ( below). Laguna took of the problem very well and they sent me a Dado throat plate. I just got off the phone with them. They did a follow-up call to see if I got the Dado throat plate. They also stated that if any other customers are missing parts they will take care of it. I have been using the saw almost everyday and am glad I made the decision to buy there product. The saw is awsome. I love this saw. I take my hat off to Laguna and will buy other products from when the need arises.

Is very good for the price. Does not come with dado throat plate as stated in all the ads. Notified the company and still waiting after 2 weeks for answer. Hope they get back to me.
