$6.99 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 1: I am very happy with the Power Tool Guide Kit, I ordered four. One for a second saw and one for a router. The other two I made guides for the two saws, one corded and one cordless. The kit contains all the necessary hardware. I used the guide and matching saw to cut the set up guides. I mark the panel and use the guide to set the Straight Edge. The heavier clamps work alot better than the originals. One word of advice, check your saw base to the blade. The first cordless saw, the base was off .062 inches. This heel & toe caused the saw to stall. After correcting this the saw was under powered to do a zero clearance cut with a 1/4" plexeglas base in 3/4" plywood. I switched to a more powerful saw and works perfectly. The corded saw, no...

Good safety concept, poor execution in design. The paddle shouldn't be larger than the footprint of the body of the switch. Since the logical location for the switch is in the front- where it can be bumped with one's hip - because the super-sized paddle interferes with the aesthetics of the front of a well designed router table base. The worst flaw is the fact that the paddle flies off the switch every time it's used. You could make a simple change to the plastic injection mold for the paddle and fix this problem. No excuse for the slipshod design.
$62.99 (Average rating from all reviews) Review 1 of 155: *the caster stamping (around the wood)needed to be bent further for the bolt holes to line up (I used a C-clamp during assembly)
*I added 1" to my Planner stand dimensions to clear the bolt heads (got hint from other reviews)
*I ripped "old" dimension 2x6's to get the tight fit rather than 2x2's (got hint from other reviews)
*since I'm using a 4 legged stand, I mounted the caster on the inside of the frame to save my toes and shop space

I just started getting into carving and I'm really happy with the quality of these chisels. They were already sharp when I initially opened the set so I was able to start carving right away. I would also recommend buying the Flexcut Slipstrop with the kit as it's really important to keep your tools sharp. It's easy to use and affordable.

I'm going to recind my other review ( below). Laguna took of the problem very well and they sent me a Dado throat plate. I just got off the phone with them. They did a follow-up call to see if I got the Dado throat plate. They also stated that if any other customers are missing parts they will take care of it. I have been using the saw almost everyday and am glad I made the decision to buy there product. The saw is awsome. I love this saw. I take my hat off to Laguna and will buy other products from when the need arises.

Is very good for the price. Does not come with dado throat plate as stated in all the ads. Notified the company and still waiting after 2 weeks for answer. Hope they get back to me.
"Have been a return customer for a number of years, and a recent experience has really cemented that bond for me. After using my Rockler lighted magnifying lens for a few months, one of the wires from the battery pack came loose. When I contacted Customer Service to inquire about sending the unit back, they instead sent me a brand new one - no questions asked, no return expected, no charge whatsoever. This simple step - coupled with top quality, innovative products - ensured my repeat business more than any other advertising technique or gimmick could ever do.
Keep up the good work, Rockler!" -
