Figured it out easily. I had to adapt it to use in my cable driven Craftsman, but that was very easy also. Only bend the pin and drill a hole for the locking screw.

This is a nice machine.. Very quiet compared to conventional planers.. Cut quality is excellent.. The issue that I have with this machine is that in the specifications section, it is stated as having a steel stand with lockable casters.. And it does.. However they DO NOT function properly.. They DO NOT lock!.. I went to a distributor and checked the one on display.. That one's lockable casters worked as well as mine.. They didn't!.. The distributor said they would contact the company and get back to me, and they did. They said they were told to fix it by placing a wedge there to keep it from moving. I had a hard time believing this so I called Powermatic.. Yup, that's the fix, go figure? Are you kidding me? I guess I'm wrong to expect something with this kind of price tag to...

I bought this unit Feb 2010 it is a awesome unit. The unit is quiet and the remote can be used from anywhere through walls etc. where a lot of the otherunits that need a clear line of site for the remote to work right.I also like the timer feature so at the end of the day i can leave the shop and set the automatic timer feature for a hour or two to clean the air and it will shut itself off.

I have the 719A without the tilting head and love it, though as with most tools (even expensive ones), it took a little fussing to tune it up. The table / fence was not totally square, so I had to shim the auxiliary fence and table. I wouoldn't let that issue keep you from purchasing though. It's a solid machine.
