Very disappointed. For $ I would expect a ratcheted screw driver to have a neutral position for fixed forward and reverse like this has plus a forward and reverse like a ratchet. The extra bits only work in the stubby position as far as holding in. In the extended sharf position, they wil fall out of the shaft. I have a THD similar position for half the price that is much better.

I have now turned three of these kits and I love them. I am still in high school and love the screwdriver that i made myself. One reason I made it was because it does come with square bits. My dad uses square screws at his cabinet shop, so the square bit come in handy sometimes. I thought that this product was very easy to assemble and to make. I am very pleased with the resuults I have turned.

Fabulous product! I am a beginner and can't afford the really expensive stuff. I even had to wait for this to go on sale. I think the design of the pilot bit, with a built in adjustable depth collar is a great feature. The self centering bits work very well. As usual however, there was no documentation. I found out by accident that the counter bore adjusts for depth of drill. Also, as an added bonus, I found the third pilot bit already inserted in the driver assembly. The storage is average. You have to use every other holder to store the bits, and centering bits. Why not just use fewer retainers, and spread out their spacing. Minor issue. Overall, another great value from Rockler.

These seem fine IF the bit you want to fit is one of the sizes supplied and IF the collar was machined to spec. Unfortunately for me, the one collar I needed the smallest is NOT machined to spec and doesn't have enough give to be usable. None of the collars give AT ALL. In short, for me this set was a waste of money.
