Just bought this yesterday and am using it for my new kitchen island. I started yesterday with spraying a Stilx primer water born and it is definately a learning curve. Unit works great but even though the instructions tell you to just adjust the spray feed screw you have to play around with the feed adjustment and also the pattern control to get good spray. Even though the instructions say less the 160 seconds for viscosity you will want to thin the pain more for a better spray. It did apply the coating as promised and is a great unit. If you are a first time user like me be ready to practice on something and make sure you have area covered for the overspray due to going past the ends of the project to maintain good spray pattern. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone.

I have had mine for 10 years, the hose is cheaply made but with about 15min of your time and $5 worth of electrical tape to wrap the hose it will I know last 10 years and counting, compared to spending a lot more on a nicer yes but needed no.

I would give it four stars for clear finish or toner but a one-star for latex paint-where it doesn't work. I also used it to spray outdoor stain on a playground set, and the outdoor stain pretty thin ran through it fine.

High quality product for low level use. Truly a joy to use.
