I used this glue for the quick set on a set of boxes/cases of poplar. It was a miter joint, not the strongest joint and needs a good glue. This was not it. 4 out of 5 times the joint "popped" while sanding the box sides. Perhaps I did not use enough glue when setting the joint, but I've been making these boxes for a year now and never had this problem with Titebond.

As a small box builder I find these assortments very useful. I've ordered two of the mixed wood and one of all maple so far. I'd say about 95% of the wood can be used for my projects and I'll find something to use the other 5% for, glue blocks etc. All and all a good product at a reasonable price.

Pieces were warped, cupped, twisted and had excessive and deep mill marks. Would be marginally useful.

Wood was delivered within a week of ordering. The pieces were straight with no bends or cupping. However, they sent me pieces that were 2 different colors, some looked like White Oak, the rest looked like Red Oak I ordered red. Also, the wood had marks all over them, and the end cuts they made were not square! There was enough extra material included to rectify these, but overall I am unhappy with the pieces and will likely not purchase again. I can get similar quality from a big box store, but I least I can look at the lumber before I buy. I expected better quality - totally disappointed.
