Great clamps.

I bought this on-line and was expecting to use it on a hexagon frame that I wanted to build. I doweled and glued the frame and slipped the Bessey Variable Angle Strap Clam with the Extra Strap Clips and started to crank the plastic handle. It broke before the boards even came completely together, let alone with any real clamping pressure. I had to immediately pull off this clamp and gather six pipe clamps to crank down each side to get the frame together before the glue dried. I am very disappointed in the product and am trying to get my money back. I do not recommend this product to anyone and considering the  price tag I am shocked that it is entirely made of cheap plastic.

These clamps work great for their designed, and clearly marked, purpose - light-duty clamping. The poor reviews remind me of poor reviews for the Hummer because of the poor gas mileage.

I have six of these clamps in three sizes, and after limited use, they no longer engage and will not apply a clamping load. 

I've got six 50 inch Bessey K-Body Clamps which have always served me well. These clamp extenders are an awesome addition too my clamping abilities. I have a 64 1/2" cabinet carcass drying in the garage right now and the clamps combined with the extenders pulled everything sqaure on the first try. Awesome product, highly recommeded. The only issue I have, is I bought 2 extensions and 1 came with plastic "feet" and the other didnt. Not sure what that's all about but they work great!!!!!
