I purchased the DeWalt DWP611PK small router kit right after they first came out.  I really like it for lighter routing jobs. It's variable speed adjustment covers a fairly wide RPM range, and that is useful when you want to reduce burning on some woods. Having a plunge base is also useful at times. The LED lights are a good feature too. Overall this little router will handle a lot of jobs that would be harder to do with a heaver large router. It's light weight makes it a lot easier to handle, and it has the same features that a larger router has. It is limited to the use with 1/4" bits. In my experience this has been is a nice product, and I would recommend it.

I've been using the Dewalt 12" & 10" dual compound slide saws for years and have only replaced the brushes once. My saws get alot of use, being a contrator who does lots of finish work I'm always changing and adjusting the angles and have never had a problem locking the saw at an angle. As for the "one star" review, there's a turning handle on top of the saw behind the motor that locks it in at angles other than 22.5 & 45 degrees. There's directions that come w/the saw!

I put a lot of thought into this purchase after spending a year with my inherited Craftsman router and table. I am thrilled with the level of performance, flexibility, confidence, and feeling of safety I have with this unit. Excellent value!

My rating is downgraded from excellent solely due to its 1/4"-ONLY collet availability. P-C/DeWalt did this to preclude use of extra-large bits that are only made with 1/2" shanks because they are so large in the first place, as if they think we all don't know enough not to use router-table-only size bits in a lightweight less-than-industrial size P-C 7500 Series router, free-hand or otherwise. Most Pros and serious amateurs have almost all 1/2" shank bits and after adding one of these routers then have to duplicate existing bit inventory in smaller-shank versions, a completely needless expense. A warning label not to use over 1" or 1-1/2" bits would be sufficient without wasting customers' money on duplicate bits, and nudniks ignoring safe operating directions are on their own as to consequences of doing so. This is a great product. It's comfortable to hold, vibration isn't terrible, and noise is acceptable. The bright yellow Dewalt color always makes finding the thing a cinch for the times I forget to put it away.
