I have a dozen of these I bought from a wholesale liquidator and they are Ok. . But like another poster I too like the Bessey ones better. I'll probably sell the Quick grips and go all Bessey.

Review 1 of 35:
Comments about the laser being off by up to 3/32" are true. That is the experience I've had on my Bosch 10", but since you can have that much difference between brands of saw blades based on their actual tooth width, I can't fault Irwin for a $10 value point. I also wouldn't recommend sanding down the inside face unless you always use the same band/width of blade. Concern: Centrifugal switch is not hermetically sealed so it will oxidize and eventually become sporadic, give poor light, or quit working altogether. Very poor decision on Irwin's part. Reminder: It's a ten dollar all metal part, so it isn't perfect, but in my opinion worth every penny at that value point. Keep your expectations realistic and you'll be pleased.

Excellent clamp no doubt. The connectors for longer lengths are easy to use also, not threading pipe together or storing long pipe sections. Now if they just had the handle of a Pony clamp. The quick one handed rotation motion would be an improvemnent. The screwdriver handle is not quite as easy to use, but not enough to knock a rating.

Great blade. Cuts like a hot knife through butter. Even used it to plane a short 2x4. I've cut a lot of other stuff with it, leaves smooth edges and very litte tear out.

Just counted. Have 54, yes, fifty four, of these 6 inch clamps in my shop. They work great for all types of situations. Gluing, clamping things to the bench to sand, drill, plane, assemble, holding all kinds of things when I need another hand. Last evening I was repairing a bench when my wife entered the shop. She was amazed to count that I had 21 clamps on one repair, most were this 6 inch Quick-Grip. I love them, you will too.

Review 1 of 2:
I bought the 3/8" chisel for a specific mortise I was cutting. The steel sharpened fine but did not hold the edge very long. This is not unexpected for an inexpensive chisel and I was not overly disappointed. The one thing that did irk me is the butt end of the chisel is rounded and my hammer kept slipping to the side and whacking my hand unless I was real careful. It would have been nice if the butt end was a little flatter. I began chiseling a long time ago using a hammer and have never been able to adapt to the more popular mallets -- what can I say!

Although this blade cuts smoothly, but it has a vibration that causes my table saw to rumble. I do not have this problem with other blades.

Review 1 of 1:
I used both of these blades yesterday making an engineering mock-up for a project I am building. They worked quite well. The cut edge was not as smooth as my Forrest blades produce but they were very good. They were better than the "other" blades I have used and more than adequate for all but the best finish work.
