I think I have every pocket hole clamp and accessory Kreg makes and have had a great deal of fun using them. I was excited when I first saw it on the New Yankee workshop and rushed out to get one. I have over the years built several projects with the jig and have loved every minute. However that being said there are a couple of things the new user should be aware of. 1. If you use glue on your projects be aware it not only serves to strengthen the project, In the beginning it will act as a lubricant and make getting your joints flush Difficult. 2. If your want perfect joints clamp, clamp ,clamp. The force of the screws WILL force the piece out of alignment. Beyond that get one of these and build your little heart out !

I got this kit for Christmas (best wife ever). I have owned an earlier version (Model K2000) for several years. This kit is impressive. The stock clamp in front took a little time to get used to, only because my old one is in back. It has two pistons, which should give it more holding power. If you are making a lot of pocket holes, the vacuum attachment is a must. My older one didn't have one, so I had to jury rig one each time with tape! The kit comes with the normal sized jig, which you use for most normal work, such as 3/4" stock. It also comes with a smaller diameter jig for 1/2" wood, which can easily be interchanged. This jig opened up a whole new world of joinery for me. Simple straight cuts is all it took to build this bed system in my garage. I used Kreg joints to build the entire cabinet as well as the drawers. No hard-to-cut dado's on the big side panels. I did not use any glue and the cabinets and drawers are very strong with only the Kreg screws. I am very happy with the ease of use and quality of the jig. I have used it on many projects and is an essential part of my woodshop.

A great deal of time was spent searching the internet for 12" Delta fence. I was convinced the Kreg was the way to go, as all advertisements stated "will not fit 12" bandsaw". The Kreg bolted right up with the factory holes! All pieces fit perfectly to the bandsaw and there are several Kreg adjustments built into the fence. Very pleased with the Kreg fence!

If I had a shop full of every tool you can think of this would be in my top 2 of favorites. It works great, wish I didn't wait so long to get it, also wish I had the money for the master system. I was worried that this was going to be some cheap plastic jig but its solid all the way around. The photo is of a kitchen island I am making for my wife, and other than the trim for the table top the whole thing is put together with pocket screws, not even a drop of glue used. Still have a ways to go on it and a ton more pocket holes to make, 50+ pocket holes and the bit that comes with it is still going strong. If you build ANYTHING, buy this jig. Rockler and Kreg, can't beat em.
