I am a novice woodworker getting back to my hobby after years of being on hiatus raising kids, work, life in general, etc. so this outfit was a long sought after luxury for me. Once set up and properly tuned, I did a test tail and pin set. A little tweak on the settings and I had a absolutely perfect fit on my second test. Marked the settings on the provided chart and now I am set to use it on my hunting chest I am making. I researched all of the other Dovetail jigs out there and decided to go with the best rated and most versatile system I could find. This is the outfit to buy and you will be glad you did. I know I am.

The bar system that holds the whole jig together does not come with the $149.00 system, YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT YOURSELF! This would be O.K. if you have a milling machine. They don't even include a paper template. Just a very complex and hard to understand manual!

It is great and does the job. It does not flex while plunging and is very accurate. Set up was a fast but must read direction. I did not build the fence yet but will be easier to line everything up. It does everything the pro does just slower because the different clamps but it is still fast. I was on debate on which model to get so I wanted to throw that in. Accessories is a must for this jig. Since I am not in production I order as needed because it only comes with 5/16 bit and guides. Must buy the vacuum port as well. Over all great jig and would recommend. I am glad Leigh made a cheaper one. I am using it with Festool 1400

It took a little practice for me but it is easy to use. Would recommend to get the dust collect you will be glad you did.
